ABOUT ABOUT

On April 12, 2014, University of Pennsylvania's Office of Fraternity Sorority Affairs will host a one-day symposium for ALL Philadelphia-area high school and college students, and administrators. The 2014 Multicultural Greek Symposium will afford individuals a networking opportunity while enhancing their leadership skills through presentations, workshops, discussions, and panels on topics related to Greek life and social responsibility.

This year’s symposium will focus on the 21st century Greek with a keynote address from author of national bestseller "The Divine Nine", Lawrence C. Ross.

Participants will have the opportunity to:
• Learn about social justice issues relevant to our community

• Consider Greeks' role in taking action to bring about positive social change

• Explore personal leadership values and ethics
• Share best practices in leading with integrity
• Have cross-campus conversations on challenges that stifle cross-council collaborations

• Walk away with useful strategies to implement within your own campuses for the betterment of the Philadelphia community

• Help better prepare high school students to enter college with more confidence and knowledge of cocurricular options
